Local candidate Charlotte Vernon is standing for Colsterworth Rural Division (Lincolnshire County Council) in the by-election on 24th February.
Charlotte lives in Castle Bytham, runs her own recruitment business in Little Bytham and has extensive experience of the planning system and matters relating to education.
If elected to Lincolnshire County Council, Charlotte will support the campaign for more funding for road repairs. She will work with Gareth Davies MP to make improvements to the A1 and with Police Commissioner Marc Jones on tacking rural crime.
Charlotte will be a passionate voice for small businesses and will do all she can to ensure our villages have the infrastructure needed to allow our communities to thrive. She will continue the work started by the late Cllr Bob Adams with parish councils and will champion low taxes and good governance at county hall.
Charlotte says: 'I will be a strong voice for our communities and will never shy away from speaking up for residents on issues such as A1 safety, planning, litter and rural crime.'
