Cllr Linda Wootten's (Grantham East) tenacity was finally rewarded last month when planters were installed outside Tesco on Keats Avenue in Grantham, following the double kerbing of the other side of the road. Cllr Wootten liaised with various stakeholders over a number of years to solve the problem of broken kerbs and churned-up verges. She persuaded Tesco to review their lorry delivery protocols and worked with LCC Highways to have the planters sourced, delivered and installed. Job done!
