Lincolnshire County Council have confirmed that excellent progress continues to be made on the building of the Grantham Southern Relief Road.
In September, Phase Two will continue with works to the underside of the new underpass, drainage and ducting works, street lighting and signage installation across the site, safety barrier installation and verge works. Phase Three will involve filling embankments, the installation of foundational concrete columns for the new bridge, continued rock processing and post-excavation archaeological reporting.
Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures:
- 50mph speed limit and narrowed lanes on the A1 between Harlaxton to Little Ponton
- On-going lane closures on the B1174 roundabout until the end of the scheme
