Ben Green is our candidate for Isaac Newton Ward in the by-election for South Kesteven District Council on 24th February.
Ben works for a leading environmental charity and takes a keen interest in rural matters, opposing over-development.
If elected, Ben will be a passionate voice for parish councils and will make your views heard in the council chamber. He will work with Gareth Davies MP on improving safety on the A1 and with Police Commissioner Marc Jones on tackling rural crime in the area.
Ben says: 'Very much a local candidate, I was born in Grantham and am proud to live and work in the town today. I’m now standing to be your councillor to give something back. To serve Isaac Newton Ward and its residents with energy and enthusiasm, building on Bob Adams’ terrific legacy. I know the Ward, with its villages and hamlets and farms, to be a special corner of Lincolnshire. Rich in history. Blessed with rolling landscapes. Strong in community and civic pride. I want this unique character to endure – long into the future.'
