As a result of the sad death of Councillor Ray Wootten, there will be a by-election on Thursday 9 November for the South Kesteven District Council ward of St Wulfrum's.
Our candidate is Matthew Bailey who lives in the ward with his young family. Matthew knows the ward inside out: his son attends Cliffedale Primary School in the ward, he works and shops locally and has served his local community in St Wulfrum's as an NHS covid volunteer. Now he wants to get even more involved in serving his community by campaigning for the issues that matter to its residents and seeking to be their voice on the district council.
I want to get things done for this community and Grantham. I have had the privilege of speaking to many of you over
the last few weeks in the sunshine and the rain. I have listened to all your points which have armed me with a list of
YOUR priorities for St. Wulfram’s ward that I will champion as your District Councillor.
